About Me

Hi! My name is Leigh-Ann and I am a master’s level Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist with a decade of experience providing nutrition counseling to young kids through older adults. I received a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and Exercise Science with a Concentration in Exercise Physiology from The University of Mobile and then went on to earn a second Bachelor of Science as well as a Master of Science in Human Environmental Sciences with a Concentration in Food and Nutrition from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). I am also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Supervisor (CEDS-S) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. I also currently teach Sports Nutrition at the collegiate level.

My greatest desire is to help my clients recognize their worth and potential through an improved relationship with food and their body. As a believer, I stand firm on the premise that we were created for more than we often recognize. I feel passionate about helping others discover this truth about themselves because while I personally struggled with an eating disorder, I was able to find my identity in Christ versus an eating disorder and found freedom through Him. I fully believe there is purpose in painful circumstances and am overjoyed that God has used my story to impact my clients in various ways over the years. The name “Abundantly More Nutrition” was created based off the truth found in Ephesians 3:20, “…that Christ is able to do abundantly more than all we could ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us…”

In my practice, we will work together to restore your relationship with food, movement, and body image. I operate from a trauma-informed, weight-neutral approach focusing on implementing gentle nutrition approaches as is helpful for my clients. I hope that each time we have the opportunity to meet, that you feel seen, heard, and taken care of.

On a personal note, I have been married to my college sweetheart for ten years. We have been together for a total of thirteen years! We have two sons, a new baby girl, and a chocolate lab named Sadie. Our faith is incredibly important to us as we raise our kiddos. We hope to lay a firm foundation for them in Christ and work to be intentional in spending time together as a family serving, loving, and showing up for others in the same way Christ has done for us.

In my free time, I enjoy date nights with my husband, going to the beach or mountains, swimming, running, baking and cooking with my kiddos, and listening to a good podcast!
